Haha you don't know much about nitrous do you? A 100 shot especially on a v8 is actually pretty safe. Anything over 100shot I would pull a little timing but thats it, for mustangs anyway.
Also the JPC car had some weight savings. The either removed the passenger seat for the run or added a race seat in it's place.


Evo is doing this on full interior and dot tires with factory gearing.

And JPC is right on a spool.

I drove my 5.0 forever with a spool. Could get a little annoying but easily done.

Also I think the JPC car ran a 150 shot to get into the 10s.

The new 5.0 is a damn beast. Time to quit ******* around with my little motor and get some cubic inches and spray.

Mike Bowen from Erie PA runnin a best of 12.58 @ 112mph bone stock in a 2011 GT.<----- Edit: can't confirm, trying, and it was a 3.31 car.


And Evo ran a 10.58 @ 127 mph w/ a 1.43 60ft time earlier today. Said the front tires lifted about 2 feet off the ground. Can't wait for the pics.

Said their best launch was a 1.40 60ft.

Where is the guy that kept saying it wouldn't make 450 crank hp with bolt-ons!? LOL

I am extremely impressed with the new GT. I want one in a bad way.

Very impressive I must say. I'm more impressed with boltons times.

Any car will be fast with that tall of a gear, slicks, suspension, and spray.

But I give props to all of the shops pushing their limits!

There are a lot of people that talked a lot of negative shiz about the 5.0 and those making said claims that are ignoring these things or acting like they believed it all along.

I know who you're talking about. It was in another thread. I quoted him then posted the message that Evo Perf/JPC got a bolt-on dyno of 403rwhp. Needless to say he never replied. He must be busy eating crow.

just to clarify, the guy was talking about TQ, not hp. I couldnt' tell you how many times he changed the 'impossible target number' though.
