fzr600 bike vs 98 z28

fzr600 bike vs 98 z28 just picked up a 1990 yamaha FZR 600 with my friend (its still sitting in the back of my truck lol)
we looked at 3 bikes and this happened to be his favorite and the cheapest (also the most hp at ~94)
we were in agreement that if he got one of the other bikes it would be a good race for my camaro, but this bike would def beat me, but on dragtimes, the only fzr only ran 12.2 @112
on stock tranny, clutch, tires, intake, my car trapped 110, which leads me to believe i can beat this bike too
whats everybody's opinion?
