finally got my car tuned, geuss the number
ok, after having lost interest in finishing my car for a few months now, i got in quite a bit of trouble for street racing, i finally decided to take it over and get a real tune on it. i had fashioned a tune of my own based of tunes of other 408's in the repository. i dropped it off Tuesday, they called me today and said it was done but it was the guy who answered the phones and he didn't know what it put down. so i am going to pick it up tomorrow, i was told it should have no problem hitting 500+whp, but dont want to get my hopes up. and this dyno is a heartbreaker, my ls6 headed, 224/224 cammed full exhaust ls1 only put down 365whp. so let me know what you guys think it will put down.
it has stage 2 l92 heads, l76 intake, 42lb injectors, 92mm TB, Torquer 2 cam, -3cc pistons, compression was calculated to be, i think, 11.4-1.
i am running thru a 12bolt, so that might take a little off. theres some more stuff, but im tired and want to get up early tomorrow to go get it.

i'm leaning that way too, i just called to make double sure its ready and he said it didn't make what he thought it would so i will post back in about 4 hours with the results. i really didn't want to do another cam swap, but if the results come in too low, that's definitely in the works.

its a dyno dynamics dyno. i have heard that they read lower than mustang dyno's. but have also heard the other way. so i dont really know. but no, those are terrible numbers for a ported l92 headed 408. but im looking into a better cam. i want to get around 500 to the wheels. it feels quick but nowhere near what i want. i think a cammed ls1 would take me honestly.
