Question Me vs fat boy!

Today had a run in with my buddy and some dude who owns a 89lx he was with tells me that his car makes 350rwhp and 410rwtq and that he walked a GTO like it was in reverse. He wants to now race me and I told him I was game win or lose but curious on how you think I will do? Also the car has no no2 or FI. He mentioned his car was 4500lbs with him inside. If his numbers are true I think I can get him. What do y'all think?

4500lbs?? Your talking about a foxbody mustang right? If you are those things are waay lighter than that i think their even lighter than our f-bodies. If its a 5.0 my buddy has one and he instantly takes me by a car from a 30 roll but i creep up fast and pass him like hes standing. What are the mods on his car? I would say you should take him

350rwhp would take one helluva setup on a old 5.0: the kind of setup that VERY FEW have. Your average heads/cam/headers/basic boltons 5.0 is making 260-300rwhp.

His weight bone stock is 3600lbs. And I've seen guys take vert 5.0's down to 3100lbs without it being too obvious weight loss. In other words, he will most likely be lucky to run mid 13's and you will destroy him.

H/C/I 5.0s make less then 300 to the wheel and run mid 13s at best.
