What gains should I expect??

Default What gains should I expect??

Before: 280hp/290tq with everything stock. clogged cats. and a borla exhaust

After: Longtubes, ORY, SLP LM2, MTI Lid, P&P TB, AIR! EGR! MSD Ignition Wires, NGK Tr55 Spark Plugs
and a tune

btw its a 2000 A4 Trans am

I'm thinking i'll get around 10-15 back if i just put new cats on.. they are extremely clogged and causing stalling issues. so with that being said i'm thinking this:
+20 cause of the ORY ( assuming id normally be 15 higher than this)
+15 for the headers
+10 LID
+5 LM@
+5 TB / K&N
+10 for tune

= 330-340??

Yeah, I would hope for 330. I was at 342 with similiar mods and M6. You might look at upgrading to an LS6 intake too.

Unless the Borla was fully capped there should be no real diff between a LM and that. The clogged cats are certainly the variable here. You really should get a LS6 intake, definitly if getting tuned. The deals are out there.

As for a comparision.

My car:

-2002 (see LS6 intake), NON WS.6, M6 and 10 bolt w/ SLP lid and filter = 324 rwhp

-Then added Dynatech headers, catted Y, Corsa, 3" steel DS and Moser 12 bolt (still 3.42) with Tru Trac diff and NO tune = 325 rwhp (yea, I was suprised and pulling timing).

-Dynotuned (dyno jet) + 4.10 gears vs 3.42's 355 rwhp.
-Added Vengance Racing VRx4 cam 228/230 112 LSA 386 RWHP.

mods in sig 337 rwh and 443 rwt on a dyno dynamics dynometer.
and 326 rwh 335 rwt on mustang dyno with the stall.

Track times in sig also.

I'm really hoping to see decnetly big gains because of those damn cats.. and also the borla was the non-adjustable so I"m hoping to see some gains from the loud mouth 2 as well
