The guy sounds like the typical diesel ricer and I bet the above posters are giving him way too much credit.
If you can hook you can beat him from any race he wants to run that doesn't involve pulling a trailer.
That aside, most diesel boy racers I've met are pure ricer ****. Even if you beat him, all you will hear is "good job beating a 8k pound farm truck in your "race" car".
