Just curious to see what people think my 408 will put down on a dyno through a 3 speed manual, Ford 9" with 4.56:1 gears and 31- 18.5 15s
Fully forged bottom end
255/263 .624/.624 115 comp cam
Milled/ ported 241 heads (57cc chambers)
Flat top piston with 4cc valve relief
Ported Edelbrock proflo xt
60 lb injectors
Total 12.5:1 scr full timing on pump gas with 0 knock end have fuel cut set at 8,000 rpms at the moment.
It's in my 04 GTO and after weight reduction to get it down to 3,775 with me in it and with stock 3.46 gears/ 4l60e I could pull on and beat several sport bikes in the area, but killed the tranny before I had a chance to take it to the track. I never had it on a dyno, just lots of street tuning.
When it comes back out here in I hope a few weeks it will have a 3 speed manual, the Ford 9" with 4 link and weigh in around 2,500 lbs...I can't wait to drive it after having it tore apart in the garage for the last 5 months!
Any guesses?
