What kinda **** did you take out of you car to get to 3450lbs?

I vote mid-high 11s and some 475rwhp.

Well it weighed 3720 with my 200lb weight and about 10lbs of miscellaneous junk in the backseat (weigh in at San Antonio Raceway). Full interior, with an amp rack and about 25lbs of sound deadener too. At that point it was just the usual lighter exhaust, skid plate, tow brace and spare delete.

Since then I removed roughly 30lbs from swapping to catless headers. Later I'm looking at 10lbs from doing the driveshaft, 10lbs from clutch & flywheel, 10-20lbs from lighter wheels(depending on tires), maybe 5lbs from all the heat shielding, some weight dropped from coilovers and some miscellaneous other stuff. Still a full interior car and quite comfy. It is possible that my car is a freak or that the scale was not correct. Weight isn't hard to drop in this car. Some racing seats alone would drop 100lbs

This LS2 made 470rwhp on stock heads with that cam and similar mods, I'm hoping the AFRs bump me up to around 500.

I would venture to say the scale is not correct. If your car weighed 3720 with an extra 220 in the car then that means you saved 250lbs just by those few mods. I would say those dropped maybe 60, not 250.

I have similar weight reduction as you and on a scale with an empty gas tank I was right around 3640.

The 500 mark depends on how well those heads go with the cam and how good the tune is. I've seen 402+ not get to that number on aftermarket heads.

It's not about the magic number 500, it's about getting close with a good power curve, hence "499whp"
