i got a 1999 z28 that based off some info from here and youtube im guessing i can get into the high 12s with. this car ive had for about a mounth now i bought it from original owner who maintained the holy crap out of this car always had mobile 1 syn. oil put in it its got a d&d viper build t56 m6 spec stage 2 clutch all energy sub. bushings in it stock gear in rear i beleave is a 3:42 ported and polished throttle body smooth elbow free ram air ported and descreened maf all the fins are gutted from lid the giant silencers are cut off the air lid and air delete its got a thunder racing fuel pump in it 255, b&m ripper shifter stock exhaust with a rust hole were the cut out used to be welded on LOL ive seen and herd of ppl running up to high mid 12s with these cars totally stock and after ive drove my buddys 13.24 sec fox body i feel this car is faster then his and with a good launch and some no lift shifting i really feel i can get a high 12 out of this car in 2001 it dynoed 304hp and 311lbft the original owner showed me proof so i guess what im looking for here is a second opinion? the big thing with this car that has all my buddys talking **** is it has 229,xxx miles on it this car burns no oil leaks nothing and has no piston slap or any other noises this car runs amazing and pulls extreamly hard and lifts the nose quite a bit!!! so just let me know what ya'll think thanks

manual- well thats up to you. not everyones a great driver and if your not used to the car you could get anywhere from a 12.9 to a 15.9

some high *** miles btw. id look into replacing the more common failing items before taking it to a strip.

 

my car before i got gears ran a 13.8 spinning bad. that was completly stock. and i have 230k miles.

 

well i took it this last fridat got a 2.1 60 with a good hook up *** end was sliding around it had soo much spin it 2 and my damn garage door opener blocked 3rd but i cought it ona quick 2nd try and ran a 13.7 but the rest of the night i couldnt get it to hook again and ran 13.7x's my other 5 passes but i broke a push rod so now im waiting on my slp 7.4s to get here and taking it back this friday

 

btw the door opener fell outta my cubby hole on the launch and i didnt know till after lol but its a 6 speed built trans spec 2 clutch all free mods stock exhaust etc. i orderd chrome moly slp push rods

 

what did it run in the 1/8???
