Exclamation What can be expected from Fast 92/92 Set up over Stock LS6 intake!?

A good friend of mine has a brand new in the box fast 92 intake, 92 TB and and 85mm Vette MAF.
Im just curious to know how much will this Improve performance and HP gains overall. Im currently running a stock PnP TB, LS6 intake and SLP Lid.

The combo i will be going with also comes with a 92mm Lid...

Thanks guys, just trying to see if the Investment is really worth it!

As far as CAM and Heads go, I have the TSP 224/224 and 5.3 TSP CNC ported heads.

Probably about 20. That setup you have is near perfect for the ls6. It doesn't peak any more than a stock ls6 cam and probably will not cause the ls6 to be a restriction.

25-30hp. Do it. Dont get hung up on this ls6 intake is better stuff. Search for ls6 vs fast comparisons. The FAST makes more power than the ls6 on every combo. Prise wise, well thats a different argument. Remember, your engine no matter what size is a big air pump. The more air you can get in and out of it the faster it will go. There are volume vs velocity theories everywhere. Keep it simple. You will see nice gains from that setup

im not gonna use a FAST... 800 for a manifold and 300 for a T-body is a waste of money for only a 15-25hp gain... if im going to spend 1k on a mod ad get an LS6 and a plate kit.

You only gain 15-20 on stock motor over the the ls6 intake... Heads and cam should see more, right?

Depending on your cam. Your cam is mild. You'll see gains but not as much as guys with more agressive cam

Realistically I think mine was worth 5-10rwhp across the board over the ls6.
