Right to the point, with the setup below, would the car be able to run 11.5-11.75 with a less than perfect night for the driver?
'99 Formula A4 2.73 rear gears stock ls1 intake/tb
3500 stall FTI converter 2.35 STR
ARH 1-7/8" LT's with 3" ORY and open Borla catback
SLP lid
BMR LCA's
UMI SFC's and PHB
Nitto or Toyo DR's 245/50R16 or 255/50R16
Cam, specs unknown, best guess at spec range: intake dur 226-230, exhaust dur 228-234, intake lift .585-.610, exhaust lift .590-.610 on 112-114LSA, advance unsure, lobes unsure.
If I have to I may get an LS6 intake and ported tb to gain another .2-.4 tenths. I'm not a terrible driver but I'm far from the best and my track experience doesn't yet exist
I'll take it out this year on street tires before the cam but that setup is the minimum of what I want to do to the car. I'd be happy with 11.5-11.75, anything faster than 11.5 is just dessert.
