1 7/8 long tube gains
2002 WS6 A4, current mods ; ported tb, ls6 intake, lid, SLP lm2
Best run : 8.602@84.65 in the 1/8th
How much would a car with those mods gain from a 1 7/8 long tubes and ORY? Dyno/ Track gains?
Really interested in track times. A buddy of mine says maybe a tenth.

i think the gain in tenths reference is pretty lame regarding street cars. i'd be looking at mph instead.
you could gain 65hp and go slower ETwise if you have a bad wheel/tire combo. for comparison my buddy's a4 car went 13.4 @ 103 stock. we put only long tubes and true duals on it - then it went 12.7 @ 109. it was an 02 b4c car. he was on a 255 dr both times. i think his 60' was 2.0 stock and 1.89 after the mods.

My car has LS6 intake, lid and Flowmaster mufflers. The power difference with a ported TB is negligible so our cars should be pretty similar. While everyone's results are different, I picked up 22hp with a pair of Pacesetter LT's, ORY and a tune. Hope that helps.

Depends on the exhaust it currently has and what you'll go to. Combo of a good tune and long tubes generally pick them up ~40rwhp if the exhaust isn't stock. If its a stock catback then install a cutout and that gain might be as high as 50rwhp. Def to 1-7/8 headers though. They are worth power over the 1-3/4.
As far as track times I could see you hitting 90mph and dropping ET down to 8.10's.
