Default Cammed stalled transam vs "built" 76 Camaro?

So basically there's some kid who's still in high school, who's calling out my car. Basically I heard threw a friend who heard through a friend, etc. from what I heard, it's a turbo 350 with a small stall, like 2200. Forged 355, world heads, solid roller, with 4.56s. Says he runs with c6z's, and makes "around 400" so I don't know what's bullshit and what's not. I told him I'd run when it's nice. I told everyone that his car is probably faster. I don't really like to talk ****, in case I loose. But I think he wants to run today. My car makes right around 400hp, and I faired we'll against a new cts-v.

My car is a 3800 stall, custom cam 231/235, 1 7/8 long tubes, ory, magnamouth, udp, ported tb, stock 3.23s. On sumitomos. I'm thinking a 35 roll, since I don't have tires.

I'd assume the Camaro is faster?

vague description on said slowmaro. a gen 1 motor with that description could be anywhere from 250whp to 450whp.

i'm guessing it's a solid roller cam, very small. using a 2200 stall...unless he just mismatched the hell out of it, the cam isn't very big at all. and who knows what "staying with" a c6z means. i'd guess the z was spinning and ole boy was pulling. until 80 mph where the z clicked 3rd and put a zipcode on him.

i think you'll decimate said car. get some video.

Ya typically I wouldnt even think twice about that 355. Sounds like he most likely just has a mild SB with a small stall and cam. As far as him keeping up with a c6z, the vette probably wasnt racing lol. I'm like you though I dont like talking **** just in case I get my *** handed to me, plus its so much more fun when you downplay your own car and then kick the crap out of the others guys ride.

Haha yea, now I'm heading its edelbrock heads and intake, 750 double pumper.... 11.5 compression solid roller. Idk I don't think that sounds too intense.
