Default 408/F1-A # guesses

Just wondering what kind of power I might can expect to see. I will be on a mustang dyno, but guesses in dynojet form would be appreciated.

Here's the set-up:
LQ9 408 (9.6:1 CR)
-15cc dish pistons
Callies Compstar H-Beam rods
Callies compstar crankshaft
242/252 .605"/.595" 115+5 LSA
LS6 Intake
AI Fully ported 317's (232cc, stock chambers)
80lb Injectors
Twin Walbro 255's
F1-A ProCharger @ 12psi
Aster Spring Tensioner Bracket
FMIC (Brute Speed Kit)
Red Race Valve
TSP 1 7/8" LT's
TSP Rumbler X True Duals
T56 Transmission
Stock 10-Bolt (I know, won't last. Working on buying 9")
Speed Density Tune

RWHP guesses please. Thanks!

Any guesses? I mean, am I looking at a range of 700's or 800's?

Thanks for the reply guys. Should have numbers by the end of spring, beginning of summer. F1-A kit is on its way now, heads were sent off today, and block is at the machine shop, so we will see. Once again, thanks! A guy I know put down 845rwhp with a 402/AFR heads and on 12psi. So I am very curious.

I am.... My build turned from a simple engine/trans swap to a complete re work of the entire car. From a Slightly modified SS to a boosted 402 in 6 months

I was simply planning on a heads/cam/100 shot ls1 to this. Haha so I know how you feel man. I will be on a mustang dyno so the numbers will read differently, but I'm hoping for some good numbers and a good curve.

Doing the same: F1A on a 415 with LSA heads and Holley hi-ram...originally began as a cam/lifter replacement job LOL. Hope you get yours in the 800's.

Mustang Dyno will kill numbers but that combo is good for 850-900 easy on a dyno jet.

Ok I ended up switching the setup a little so I would be able to turn the boost up as much as I want. I'm going to start out low (with the 4.50 pulley) and move up later. Here's the new setup.

LQ9 408 (9.6:1 CR)
Wiseco -15cc dish pistons
Callies Compstar I-Beam rods
Callies DragonSlayer crankshaft
242/254 .605"/.596" 115+5 LSA
LS6 Intake
AI Fully ported 317's (232cc, 70cc chambers)
80lb Injectors
Twin Walbro 255's
F1-A ProCharger @ 12psi (4.50 pulley)
Aster Spring Tensioner Bracket
FMIC (Brute Speed Kit)
Red Race Valve
TSP 1 7/8" LT's
TSP Rumbler X True Duals
T56 Transmission
Stock 10-Bolt (I know, won't last. Working on buying 9")
Speed Density Tune

We hope to have it going in the next month or two and I will let you guys know!

Alright, in for a little update guys. Motor is 100% complete, the whole procharger kit is at my house and has been for a while (thanks to Bob @ Brute Speed). I just need to buy a new set of headers and upgrade all the fuel components and she will be ready to swap in! Just bought a set of Weld RT-S' and sent them off to powdercoating so that set me back a bit for buying the rest of the parts. I'll get on it as soon as I can though. Decided to go with a 4.00" pulley for now to see if I cant make about 16psi, hoping for 800's. (Will be on a mustang dyno though so it probably won't hit that number.

In the mean time, my stock '98 151k mile LS1 with longtubes, TSP rumbler true duals, and a 100 shot N20 Outlet plate kit put down 418/510 on the "heartbreak" mustang dyno, and that was with fairly low bottle pressure, so needless to say I was pleased. Stock clutch isn't too happy though lol.

I'll let you know when everything is ready to swap and I'll post pictures in a new "build" thread. Thanks everyone. Guesses on what it will make on 16psi are always welcomed, too!
