Default Trans am h/c/i vs Pullied 04 Corbra

My buddy has an 04 Terminator with pulley and exhaust. My mods are in the sig. Would this be a drivers race?

If you are within 60rwhp of his car you should pull him by a car or so. Cobras weigh hurts their performance

And hope that he does port that blowah right?

His car put down 450 on a dyno jet. Sorry I forgot that part.

Just now came across this thread, and wanted to give my input. Based on my personal experience, and your mods vs his...you should take this one! We have a very similar build, and I was beat by one car length only by my buddy's 03 ported/pullied Cobra that has 3.73's AND about 200 lbs of weight reduction

He lives in another state so the race prob wont ever happen. I think if we were on the same dyno mine would have made more.

The terminators are dyno queens they also suffer from traction issues and are horrible out of the hole for the amount of power they make.

Forgot to post. We built a friends 03 terminator in my garage. Before it got insane he made just under 500 at the wheels when my 60 trim LS1 was making 450 (power band falling flat at 5200rpms) From a role it was close but I would pull on him a car or two every gear. When we went to the track I ran a 11.4 to his 12.3. I drove the car many times and it was insanely fast but in 1st and 2nd gear you had to be very easy on the go fast pedal. By 3rd gear you could open her up all the way and hold on. Latter on with 315s and a 2.3 wipple set up the car ran 11.8s at just under 600 hp. Once again traction was a major issue 3rd gear was even a little scary. They are nice cars and I am not knocking them at all but from my experience the blower cars are only scary when you start seeing automatics or solid axles under them. The turbo cars are a different story and you should run and hide at that point.

A little note:
My friend has now ditched the blower set ups and is running a 04 with a single T72 on a forged bottom end. The car just made 750 at the wheels on 93 octane. His next mod is going to be a 9 inch and I expect some very solid 10 second passes.
