Default 35 Anv ss vs 2012 5.0

I have a friend with a 2012 5.0 6 speed his only mods are axle back and ECT tune. I have a 35 Anv ss Camaro vert with 12 bolt moser; 3.73 gears, yank ss 4000 stall,1/3/4 lt kooks headers, maganaflow catback, and slp lid with smooth bellow. What should be the outcome of this race given on the street or track from a roll or dig. Thankyou.

Your best bet is a dig street race if you can hook well. At the track it will depend how good a driver he is but he should be able to run mid 12s and is likely to pass you somewhere between the 1/8th and 1/4

From a roll he will probably pull on you.

Wouldn't I be mid 12s with those mods regardless?

If you are on a sticky tire and dead hook.

Lots of "what ifs". Should be good races though. I'm also basing my posts on personal experience...if you believe many of the vocal people of ls1tech your car should run 11s and a 5.0 has no chance without more mods.

A bolt on 5.0 is no slouch.

Then your car is a good running one. You should have it in the bag if you don't spin. He will still out trap you though so a roll will be tough.

A tuned 5.0 should easily trap 113-115mph to your 109-111mph (guessing you gained some from the stall and lid)
