Need input on my 408 vs 2013 5.0 Ok guys I have a few questions here. My work partner seems to think that his now stock 2013 5.0 mustang would beat my set up when he gets bolt ons. He's talking about adding cams exhaust and tune. Even with cams exhaust and tune would he run me down? My set up is a 408 ls stroker. 606 flywheel horsepower 575tq in a 3200# 86 cutlass with a th350 trans 3500 stall 3.73 gears with qa1 upper and lower control arms.
Given this information there shouldn't be any chance right? He is going to need forced induction? How much boost would he then need to take me? Thank you for all input
