310ci 450 RWHP recipe?
I’m stuck with 310ci because of rules.
what I have or am planning
l33 block bored to 5.7 bore.
4.8 crank
floating 4.8 rods
floating LS6 pistons
Katech cnc’d 799’s with welded chambers (I don’t have a number on the cc yet)
I figured I’d give BTR a call on cam/spring/lifter combo
Also feel like the fast102 will breath well on a high strung small ci engine
What should at be looking at as far as parts selection and what kind of output?
drivetrain is an aluminum case 3speed Saginaw with ceramic bearings, a 7.25” clutch, 110 tooth ring gear and reverse starter setup. Rearend is an 8.8

To make ~1.5 RWHP/CI NA You will need to peak at 6800 RPM+ Minimum.
A well Ported MSD will peak at least 300-500 RPM beyound what the FAST
Cathedral Head Intake will peak at. I would suggest a Cam Motion LLSR as well.
Look at Darth V8r 346 build thread, and MSD VS FAST Comparison thread
to get an idea of what's required for your goals.
