New 12:1 combo
Trying out some max effort pump gas fun. So a 11.93:1 with ported square ports, 5 angle VJ, milled .030 to get stated compression. Factory MLS LY6 gasket, 2 valve relief +6 cc dome. Factory rod and crank. Balanced rods and pistons.
old BTR stage IV NA LS1 cam I had laying around, 235/242 @.050, .621/.592 lift, 111+3
Holley split plane intake, Holley 4150 carb. 1 3/4 headers. 3” X pipe.
going to be through a TH400, 5k billet converter, moser 12 with 4.30
Pump 93
cannot wait to see what it does on the dyno and then hit the strip to get a solid calculation for FWHP.
I am sure it’s 600 give or take. But I would be impressed if it was anything over 600 FWHP considering it’s a free cam and 800$ pistons and rings with a mill and valve job, free home porting.
Truck should weight 3450 lbs. Which is crazy for a full size steel truck to me.(64 C10).
it is a full size truck that is going to surprise any base model new V8 American car I’m sure. I find that a little entertaining.
