New 408 short block SOLD
Specs.
1. Seasoned iron block
2. Pressure checked
3. Decked 0.005
4. Bored 0.030 with plate
5. Finished honed to 0.0045 Piston to wall clearance
6. Durabond cam bearings
7. Align bored with ARP main studs Included
8. Eagle 4.0 crank
9. Scat rods 6.125
10. Mahle coated pistons 12cc total dish/relief
11. Mahle file fit rings 1st .022 2nd .025
12. Clevite H series Rod and Main bearings Rod = 0.002 Mains = 0.0019
13. Crank End play = 0.004

Built for a 0.040 head gasket for a 0.035 quench and a 200 shot of N2O

Compression with a
72cc head = 10.14:1
67cc head = 10.67:1
64cc head = 11.0:1
62cc head = 11.27:1
60cc head = 11.52:1
59cc head = 11.66:1
That should cover the Compression questions all compression ratios are with a 0.040 head gasket

If only the block were aluminum. I'd hate to add 75lbs to the nose of the car.

The center tread lines are warn down to the within 1/32 about the time they start to hook the best but not best for tire life thats why selling so cheap.

so the tires have not much life left on them i would assume than? How many passes were made on them? I'd be interested if they had decent tread life left.

A hand full of passes mostly street driving thats why so cheap got enough to make some good runs with and test fitment before spending big money on new ones.
