Thanks very much for the compliment. Here's the thing. The price is firm and so far no one's even stopped by to look at it. If it doesn't sell I won't lose any sleep over it and I'll try to find more time to have fun with it. If it sells it sells if not oh well...

Hey Alan give Carlos a call, he is really looking at getting another car and I told him how nice your Formula is, I think you could work him some. He really needs to see it. If you need his number let me know.

Snowy Saturday bump! Nothing's more fun in the snow than a spooled A4 with 4.10s and DRs And thanks Mike, Carlos is planning on stopping by today if he can brave the snow!

I knew he would appreciate your car when he saw it,; I`ll send you my address for the commission check

At least you know the car will be well taken care of, and you can still see it run at the track if you want to.

You both made out good!

Thanks and I'm really feeling good about the sale. I haven't raced it in 3 years. Priorities change, time gets limited, kids start more activities and before you know it, the car that you couldn't get enough of previously, gets left undriven. The new owner is really into the car. He's actually a previous LS Corvette owner who wanted to have a more drag strip oriented car. That's pretty cool to convert an LS Corvette guy to an F-body LT guy.... He hasn't taken possession of the car yet, so I'm sure that when it's finally gone next week I'll be more sad, but I'll have something to play with again in a few years. I'll beback in either Dad's 2003 LPE 383 Corvette, a 2003-2005 Mercedes AMG E55, or my wife's choice which would be a 60's era Shelby Cobra with an LSX twist...now that would be cool...

Yeah Mike thanks again...I'll definitely compensate ya somehow...I do appreciate it! He really liked the car and I think he'll move ahead with it as it should..I may have planted the nitrous seed in his head..."Ya know a 150-200 shot would be really interesting..." As far as I'm concerned, it stayed in the family...

It's always nice to see a nice car passed to someone who will appreciate it. I'm happy for you both. Other than sentimental reasons for your dad's vette, I hope your wife wins out and you end up with an LS'd cobra. Sounds like fun to me!!

You could call Gary Morgan at work, he would be a good resource on anything you want to do with a Cobra. A blown LS or NA LS7 based Cobra would be cool. Just a little over 2000lbs and a lot of HP= Rocket!! That would be a cool build.

Buy me a beer or a Sonic`s shake and were good.

Gary is definately a hard core Ford fan, his new white Cobra that he finished last year is a work of art, even with that big *** Ford motor in it! lol.
