WTT GMMG catback for another catback
WTT GMMG catback for another catback Bought the car a month ago with the GMMG catback on it. Not really a fan of it. Just seeing if there is any interest in a trade, preferably local in the SE MA/RI area. I can do the swap at my shop if you are willing to travel. Exhaust is in great shape, appears to be less than 1 year old. Only interested in trades for another cat back at this time.

get a magnaflow bullet and install it the i pipe, also going back with the cats will give it a better tone, imo and many others its the best sound, the thing with these cars all start at the y pipe, i have had every exhaust but the gmmg and i will say the gmmg sounds better than others ive had, its up to you man , what are you looking for sound wise , do you want it loud, honest if i ever got rid of my duals i would go with a gmmg catback

search for the thread, i forget what is called but its something like take the rasp out of a gmmg, honest i think you would really love the gmmg with a magnaflow bullet in there, otherwise the least raspy catback would be a magnaflow, imo still has rasp and is really quiet, if you add cats and a bullet you could cut down on the rasp alot, the only setup i have heard rasp free is true duals, but they have drone if there dumped and there very loud, sorry man i wasnt trying to mess up your thread ,just wanted to let ya know you have the best catback just takes a lil work to make them sound great ,take care and i hope everything works out for ya,also if you dont have a good merge on the y pipe it will increase rasp , a flowmaster merge helps alot more than you think,

Verdad Gallardo yes i do lol, i had a magnaflow, honest and this is imo the magnaflow is great for a dd, i had one and thought it was great but i like loud and mean and the magnaflow was just to quiet, i think its the best looking catback once its all polished up,
I have had magnaflow-FLowmaster-SLP on 2 previous F-bodies. My GTO has had Borla and Bassani and now has a spintech so i have had my fair share of different exhausts

I also have the back half of a dual/dual system that was the optional performance exhaust that was on the 1997 LT-4 SS. That was the system with the two resonator's in each tail pipe. On that system i have the muffler tail pipes "no resonators" and hooker tips. I ordered that from Slp years ago but took it off for the Corsa i have.
