Very much so, my brothers boss is actually kinda looking around the Northern VA area for abandoned air ports to buy and move their shop to it. You could most definitely get a trespassing ticket, then it probably depends on the cop's mood if he wanted to impound your car, write other citations etc.

Only one I've ever been on was outside Utica. It was fun but sketchy as hell since it had been closed for about 15-20 years and it was starting to deteriorate plus it was the first day owning my Formula and It clearly needed suspension, brakes and tires.
