Default My New WS6

Picked up my 97 ws6 about a month ago and gpt to play with it a bit for the first time really this weekend (unregistered since im at school). Heres some pictures. She's real dirty and it just rained to not the best pics but you get the idea. I'm psyched! VIDEO ADDED AT BOTTOM










Still trying to figure out why im having hard startup issues. (Notice how it starts right up after i turn the key a second time. Any thoughts?) Also still trying to get used to cam surge as you can see when i pull away. Or maybe the car needs a tune-up and some tuning im not really sure but at times it seems excessive. Anyways, heres the video:

Those were offered up till mid year 2001 lol. To me that is "the" WS.6 rim! That one offered in 2002 was garbage.

As for the mod list the fuel pressure regulator doesnt matter the PCM compensates. I'd have it dyno'ed to verify its running at the correct A/F

I actually meant he car as a whole , but yeah I agree I like that style rim too thats why I got em'

what do you mean the PCM compensates? I actually haven't installed it yet but i need to download datamaster when i get the chance to check these things out. I'm pretty sure you can check A/F ratios with datamaster

I think he meant that you really shouldn't have to adjust it, so no need for an adjustable FPR. I installed an Aeromotive adjustable fpr on mine, but only because I thought the stock one was shot. I set it at a pretty normal level and it's not like it's super easy to get in there to adjust anyway.

If the car is SD tuned, thats one thing but all your fuel/spark maps are done via the PCM.

If you have access to tuner cats, you can check out my old 383 LT1 file.

I first had a joke of a tune from PCMForless.com and then got a real dyno tune and spent good money learning how to tune cars as well as making sure my car is safe.

If you have a lap top, get a cable from AKMcables, and Datamaster and scan the car, make sure everything is running mint and thats just being safe.

As noted where the AFPR sits, its way in the back and on these cars is not needed.
