Finally ordered a converter :)

No matter what condition the car is in, we will be at the first event.
Once I get the converter in my hands, which will be next year...The car is going right to Buddy...then I just need to set up an appointment for the 10 pt. with Jon
I should be ready for April
But I hear your reasoning as well and it also makes sense.... IMO, better to have then to not.
I hear you, if I was closer to a NHRA track or planned on running at one this year, I would be all over it. Just getting to the track is a mission in itself, seeing I dont own a trailer or tow rig. My goal is to buy a tow vehicle come May but we'll see how this economy changes.
When you're ready lemme know, timing might be about right, 5500 and it's yours, might even be able to talk me into selling the truck and trailer if the offer is right.
i think the retention is only required at 7.50 still...I remember reading that when my 09 book came in...
The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
I dunno, I remember hearing 9.99 or better was gonna need an engine diaper starting this year.
Be nice if it wasn't the case that I can tell ya, I did get a line on a guy that can make a kevlar one that's flame proof, and will fit pretty good. Really hoping that rule would stay for 7.50 and faster though.
