Before you guys get to carried away they may have hit a small bump in the road. A stop work notice has been placed on the site by the county. I am sure they can get the necessary permits, although this may delay the opening.

get the info right. the stop permit was placed on that building alone. i was there just after it happened. they were still working. just they werent puttin the roof on the shack
thats all it was. i talked to the owner about it

Im ready and everyone around here is ready. The last time I was up there they had all new wood on the bleachers and all the new roofs on all the little buildings done. I think there supposed to be paving it this week.

since no one has said it, friday and saturday are going to be 1/8 mile and sundays are 1/4. i know there will be t&t on fri and sat but idk about sunday. the new site is up witht the details but im too lazy to look. ill see you all there the 3rd but ill most likely be on the r6 since ill be comming from baltimore.
does anyone know wether they are meeting the NHRA's requiements? p.s. from what ive been told the place is no longer owned by bill wilcom nor is it under his discression. it is now owned by roy stanley and will be managed by the founder of street-freaks.
as far as chili-dogs, i want them. but i saw on another site that the track has hired a 3rd party vendor with a trailer to provide food, that way the track doesnt have to go through the health code b.s.
