If I couldnt do it myself, Exotic Perfomace Plus would be my choice. A shop with a good reputation is more important than distance, IMO. EPP works on LSX cars everyday and there tuner is awesome. I dont take chances anymore with my car after some bullshit I went through with some local "performace" shops.

JJ's Automotive

They are a sponsor on here.

I highly doubt you are going to find anyone around here that is more knowledgeable, better rates, and more experience than them. I can already tell you at least half of the people in this thread do business with them.

JJs does not do dyno tuning. Their tunes are mail order tunes from TSP. Mail tunes are horrible, trust me. Been there, done that. Definitely dyno tune.

My .02, I wouldn't take my car to JJs again.

They don't do dyno tunes and they don't do mail order tunes from TSP.

They have their own tuner that tunes with hp tuners. He is very good at tuning. He did my original tune, without a wideband (he didn't have one then, he has one now), and just driving it for a few minutes. I was skeptical and went to a dyno and paid for a big name tuner to dyno tune mine. I came to the agreement with the big name tuner that I would only pay for a tune if he could give me any sort of improvement over my current tune. With the aid of a dyno and a wideband, he could not improve any over the tune I got from JJ's, and I walked away with my money.

sam as in sam that does the tuning for JJ's????

almost everything on my car came from JJ's. i would 100 % recommend them. great prices and always helps everyone out when possible. im sure they can always rent a dyno if need be for tuning. if you need any fabrication work done i would go to jeff at 1stTryEngineering.

Umm...yes, Sam...from JJs. I had a tune from JJs a few years ago. It was the wrost thing ever. Car wouldn't start, then when it did it would stall. It was HORRIBLE.

That is correct, everyone has ups and downs. I was just stating my opinion. Even though that barely scratches the surface of proplems with JJs.

Brian From PCMforLess dyno tuned my car, a buddys 408 ws6 that made 540rwhp, and his buddies 346 H/C vette that made 480/440. When it comes to tuning in our area, Brian from PCMforless hands down. Now if your looking for a shop to do everything, installation & tuning, then I still say EPP.

yes guys actually i was hoping for a shop that would do an install and tune of either a d1sc or a KB screw. honestly, if it wasnt for the fact that nobody close can do it, my car would already be FI.
