Im simple refering tot he fact that for some reason no one ever mentions his name.

In previous presidential election capaines the full name of the candidate was always said.

In '88 we knew it was George Walker Bush, in '92 we knew it was William Jefferson Clinton, in '00 we knew it was George Herbert Walker Bush.

Why has no one ever mentioned his middle name? What are they hiding?

there is no way this would happen unless god forbid the senate and house become socialist which i find hard to believe since they love the $$$, anybody remember checks and balances, pretty sure we won't go socialist...IMO they hide his middle name because im sure at voting time ppl would have voted differently just because of his name and not what he plans on doing...Who cares whats his middle name as long as he does his job and helps this country become strong again.

that could be it, or it could be that using his middle name would make issues like his support of Kenyan Islamic Terrorists like Odinga & Sharia law more important?

thats awesome, they guy you chose to protect us from Islamic terrorists is the same gue who showed support for them during his trip to Kenya in 2006...

awesome choice!

People mention his middle name all the time now, only difference is no one feels the need to emphasize it unless they talk about what an amazing progression this country has made to look past a person's name, race and religion.

Reading all these ignorant hate remarks pissed me off at first but the more I think about it the more it puts a smile on my face, because the elections over, and Obama won handily, even in some of the most red state's, in other's it was surprisingly closer than anyone would have thought. And he's now got an 84% approval rating after the team he choose.

Change has arrived..

http://www.whitehouse.gov/

In his speech today:

"The time has come to set aside childish things"

So- you all have to sell your Camaro's and Guns by close of business.

The Gov't will need your undivided attention and tax revenue.

just my 2 cents
Actually we're not in the minority. If you looked at the POPULAR vote and not the electoral system about half of us did not vote for Obama. I for one didn't vote for Obama since his ideas were worse than McCain's. I really didn't like either's political view, but I'm never gonna not (yes double neg)vote since it's my right!

Obama sure does have more of a socialist view compared to Bush and McCain. I don't think it'll be too bad, but then again how can it get worse? Obama hopefull will get some promising people around him, or we're screwed!! If the whole take from the rich and give to the poor is your idea of fair, then you all need to re-check the defenition of socalism......while you at it look up communism, USSR, and the down fall of promising countries that had a republic and elected officials. All countried that had elected officials that became a socialist gov't crashed and burned. Take that you welfare pocket stealing bums!

Agreed, however, there is still MUCH prejudice against the black and muslim community, especially in such areas as employment opportunities (I can tell you this from experience)

People fear what they dont know, and honestly, many people just cant comprehend that just because someone has a certain name or is a certain religion that they are not the same thing as to what we are at war with.

I do not even bother arguing with people about the topic anymore, there is no getting through or changing the ideals of close minded moronic peoples.

As much as I don't care for soem of obama's plans, would you have rather elected a 70+ yar old war monger that would probably die before the end of his first term... putting sara palin in charge of the country? That woman couldn't organize/run a day care center, and you'd be happy with her having the ability to launch an ICBM?

I don't think so.. now I can honestly say there's no way in hell that would sit well with me. Making Obama, the only viable option.

All we can do now is sit back and see if he can try to straiten out some of the mess the last 8 years have given us, first thing he needs to do is to get rod of the legislation allowing anyone to buy a home, then get some regulations back on big corperaations.

I voted Charles Baldwin, but then again I vote on principal rather than choosing between one of the only two people who has a shot at the time.

One very positive thing about Obama is that the majority of the country is in high spirits and that kind of positive attitude and atmosphere is certainly what we need to help us get out of this recession. I wasn't supportive of him during the election process but he is currently my country's President and I'm hoping for the best from him, even if I don't agree on many points. Another very positive thing is that I feel his intentions are good, again even if I don't agree with him on all of his goals. Also, he certainly has the rest of the world looking at us much more favorably, which may or may not be a huge benefit, but is just a good thing in general in my opinion.

We'll see how the next four years go. With the economy in the state that it's currently in, the positive side to that is that he is not in a position to be pushing and promoting some of his more socialistic objectives that he'd be more capable of if we had a large federal budget surplus. Not that that's stopped other Democrats from trying anyways (see previous post I made California), but he seems to be a bit more sensible than many Democrats out there, at least from what I've seen and read.

Hate for race has nothing to do with it... hate for him as an inexperienced liberal socialist politician however, has everything to do with it.

you saw "war monger" i see a war Hero...

I don't like McCaine, but I hate nearly everything Obama stands for. And having come from a Communist and Socialist country, unlike, I dare to say, most of you, his "ideas" hit "too close to home"

let alone his judge of charichter [cough] William Aires, Jeremiah Wright [/cough]

get good people behind him?

how about Atterney general Eric Holder who was instrumental in the pardon of Mark Rich a convicted felon and fugitive?

great choise of people Barry... truly awesome!

speaking of ignorant hate remarks... look at the way people talked about bush. disagreeing with a politician's policies in an adult way is just fine... but i've heard more than one person refer to him as 'that ******* inbred chimp' and things of that nature... people wishing death on the guy, and even a fan club for the guy that threw the shoe at him. I've had 'friends' from back in boston tell me that they'll never visit me in texas because they hate george bush or that i'm banned from coming back home because i moved to the heart of 'red america'... what does not liking george bush have to do with me? well i'll tell ya... ignorant hate. i've lived in boston where most of my friends are liberals, and i've lived in TX where most of my friends are conservatives, and i see a heck of a lot more bigotry come from the left than the right, and thats from personal experience.

McCain a warmonger --- Unlike "The CHOSEN ONE" he has actually fought and suffered for his country and seen the horrors of war. Nobama and his wife have been handed everything on a silver platter -- Free educations at Ivy league schools that white middle class people could only dream of paid for by the taxpayers. They are America hating terrorist sympathizing (Ayers, US trials for Alqueda etc) "spread the wealth" socialists. As far as Palin I would rather see her run the show than any of those clowns. She has run a state with an 11 billion dollar economy and has a kid on the battlefield and real middle class lifestyle unlike any of the others. Obama has never run so much as a lemonade stand. All hes ever done is given a good speech. Sad state of affairs we choose a president like American Idol -- a f-- ing popularity contest.

CHANGE --- are you F --- ing Kidding me ? He has rehashed the entire clinton white house except for the ones that were convicted of stealing and hiding classified documents pertaining to the 9-11 investigations. Change is all we will have left after him Pelosi and reed get done "spreading the Wealth" of the middle class.

You college age kids will wake up once you start seeing how much the govt takes out of your check after college. The older libs I will never understand.

As I told my college age niece yesterday -- as much as I enjoy getting paid for MLK day I really look forward to Obama day.
