I went down to the Wildwood, NJ Car Show and it was pretty much a bust. At one point on Friday night at about 10:30 PM I was one of the only cars out crusing. That's just insane. The cruises used to go on until midnight or later even. Hopefully Ocean City, MD isn't like that. I'm debating going at this point.

People cruise all the time there, later in the night I park to party up. Down near the inlet is where alot of burnout action happens, at night it gets crazy! Its a fun time for sure.

It seems that alot of people from this board are going down. I'd like to know where everyone usually hangs. If I go I can meet up with everyone down there.

"Friday meet @ Hoopers 4:30pm
Saturday @ 45th Street 2:00pm"

I just drive around and stop in Hooters when I can, I have never driven in the convention center area before nor gone in there just by walking I might this year. Also I might walk to the inlet area as well, never been in there before either. I usually just cruise around for about 2-3 laps and then park somewhere and do something like eat or go back to the hotel for a bit, etc...

I remember the Hooters is usually a large gathering of people. There was Seacrets too but I'm not much of a bar guy.

Yup thats mostly what i do. Some laps then park, eat watch cars, head out some more, back to hotel, back out later. I'm not much of bar guy either. They will probably close Bmore ave like they have in the past years. Its going to be a crazy show, spring show always is. Traffic gets pretty bad on saturday. Anyway im excited, ive been cruising in my gf's T/A the past couple years because my car was always down, now i just picked up a Z so it should be fun.

I got a warning last year for spinning tires in my girls car...i really cant afford a ticket this year...insurance is bad enough already!

Pretty much if you see a crowd of people egging you on you can believe there is a cop near them who will call it in or pull you over. Though sometimes the cops are cool and let you light em up. That happened to my friend! Watch for the state troopers, they have brought some in the past years if it gets too wild.

My brother and I and others usually stayed at the Spinnaker. Lots of burnouts there. Usually in the side streets. It used to be you would do your burnout and then immediately park the car when finished and wait for the fuzz to show up and then leave. Then repeat. Good times had by all. The last time I went to OCMD there were bike cops and horseback ones as well. They had the main road pretty well guarded so not much extra curricular activities happened. That is what appears to have ruined the NJ shows. The crew eventually stopped going for a variety of reasons. Some sold their cars and some just weren't having fun anymore.

A few others might be able to meet up with you at that Wawa around 11:30. Our plan is to leave Hancock, MD around 9 AM on Thursday and we always stop at that Wawa. Hopefully if we get there early I can talk the others into waiting alittle.

In my group there are 3 Camaros and a Slowbra.

The meeting on Friday is at HOOPERS not HOOTERS just incase you missed that about the meets. Its just before you come over the bridge into OC on the left, big brick red building on the water with a crab on the side of it i believe

I'm taking my weather man training online right now. Its a one week course but brutal I tell ya. You have to figure things out like wind, rain, sun and you even have to look at this dopler thing and say green is rain and it will rain here going at this rate. Damnit my brain is fried!!!!! Hope everyone brings their water ski's. I actually rainx'd the windows last nite LOL! Hoping it just makes for a easier drive with slightly bald street tires.
