NC guys whats up?
hey everyone in here from NC i finally decided on a school and im comin down!! ill be attending high point university startin late august i just have a few questions if anyone lives near there. how far from a racetrack? and whats the car seen lik down there? im real excited to be goin down to NC

thats wat im sayin im finishin up buildin my car i wanna know how close a track is so i can race while im down there lol id ask how far the beach is but ill find that out myself the first time i go try and catch some waves

Yeah, I'm not from NC, but finding the beach can't be too hard. Just drive due-East until you hit a really really really big puddle.

I grew up in Edison NJ, moved to Toms River in 2000 and then to High Point NC in Feb 2005. The car scene here was pretty stout up until a couple months ago when a huge drag racing sting stopped everything.

Like any scene, the obvious cars causing the trouble were the ricers that would race on the regular roads. The faster cars always went out late at night to secluded spots away from harms way.
Since that bust the scene has been very dead. Their are several 1/8th mile drag strips relatively close by but the closest 1/4 mile is Rockingham with is about 90 minutes away.
