Fran96SS said he had a good time at the rental in November, but won't be coming to this one since all the cars he brought got booted. We can't help it if some choose to run quicker than they are "legal" to run. BUT, anyone who chooses that route, also chooses to take the chance of making one run and being done for the day....
All WE can do is hope your cars are NHRA legal for what they run, OR...that they turn a blind eye, but that's a $50 chance anyone who comes (and isn't quite legal) has to take.
Comes with the territory. Back in my Mustang days, I ran over 1/2 second quicker than legal for a whole Summer there before, but have also been booted for running .02 quicker on one pass, then I was legal. Also been scrutinized for door bars on a custom rollbar setup from a well known Delaware shop, yet ran 10.20's for 2 years in the same car without screw in valve stems or c-clip eliminators. Been warned about an out of date helmet, then buy a brand new "legal" one and nobody's checked it yet, LOL...
so....boils down to 2 choices. Race and take your chances with being booted, or watch?
(BTW, I am not preaching to anyone as I have run quicker than I should have on many occasions in the past. Just clarifying for anyone who knows they run quicker than they are "legal" to, that they are on their own in that decision and there are absolutely no refunds for anyone who makes one pass and gets booted.)

LOL...You know how Cecil is...sometimes you can get away with being "illegal"...sometimes you can't.

Sorry, I mean NHRA legal, like a car that runs 11.49 or faster is supposed to have a rollbar and some other items to be "legal", or a car that traps 150mph (I think it is) needs a parachute, etc...

I agree to a certain extent, but I'm sure you also understand that any of those type decisions are 100% made by Cecil County Dragway management and not anyone else. I'm sure you also understand that as "gay" as it is or isn't, someone who runs 11.49999 has the possibility of getting booted, from any NHRA sanctioned track, just as quickly and easily as someone who runs 8's...Part of the game, unfortunately.
