Get ready to Rumble Boys and Shrek!

I'll take a cheeseburger too and yes Redgar, it would be all your fault!

But please don't shoot yourself, who will we pick on?
Don't be selfish and ruin the fun we all have at your expense?

LOL....

Nah, I think the track is just gettin' shorter and shorter.

Rick's car almost took it all home yesterday, good job bro.

Next time I'd like to try and coordinate it so that we all park together.

I'd meant the Bruce/Jetnitro (and myself) crew combining with the Barry/QTP/Pizza boy (and REDGAR ) camp parking all together. We were set up over on the other side of the main food/concession stand with LOTS of room, plenty electrical outlets AND running water too!
Next QTP EFI we'll either come over where you guys were or you guys can come to the other side, we had a nice canopy/tent with chairs and all. Makes it so much more fun with a big group pitted together, especially now that we can't all just converge in the lanes all day as in year's past.

Nice pictures Rick.

Why are you taking pictures of my butt?
I am not Mark you know. (Pants and all)

I am going to say, that you were just trying to keep me "Anonymous"?

Marc LS1LT1,
I agree pitting together would be nice.
Redgar was relatively close, but all those GTO guys like that spot over by the concession stand. Which is a nice spot, but is too far a walk to the staging lanes/starting line.
If everybody came over early, there would be enough room before the Motorcycle guys showed up.
Most of the Vette guys usually park together.

That was because I had specifically set the car up to run 11.50 on an average April day.
Not a 95 degree day with a DA of 2500 ft!
It was really set up for the first date, but I didn't want to go through the trouble to switch up the car,
it was already loaded up in the trailer.
I had a tank full of gas, a full bottle in the back, the stock heavy wheels,
went deep and everything just to slow the car down.

Then I had to scramble to get ET back.

Believe me, that won't happen again.

Come join in the fun.
I'll take you on, at the next QTP EFI race, in the 11.50 index race.
Unless you really want to get killed again in the Quick Time 8?

I lasted longer then expected against all the power adder cars.
The track was TOO long in the finals. Jay smoked me on the big end.
I didn't have enough for him on this day.

True, shorter walking distances/being closer to the lanes/starting line is definitely my preference as well but there really is so much more room over where we were and a great unobstructed view of the top end of the track/boards right behind us as well.
I'll try and get Bruce to come over to the pizza stand section (pun intended ) next time.

Oh snap, you went there LOL.
Well my "show car" was one of the top qualifiers in the inaugural QTP EFI 11.50 event and Bruce's "show car" almost went all the way in the same event.
Oh and I still suck at the tree LOL.

The one thing you did not state, which is not apparently obvious but I will state it....you outqualifed pizza boy

Pizza boy.....what a joke you are....keep it up, one day you will learn how to race on the day your race rather than thinking you are some November rental. I think you learned a valuable lesson Saturday....you are slow!!!!!!! Luckily you can cut a mean light, I give you lots of credit for that

I could have qualified better, but there are no points for that.
I was more concerned with my lights, as it was the first time I had raced this year.

Under the circumstances, for race two, it was either cut a mean light or stage shallow and run close to the number.
Having been around for a while, I know not to change your program in the middle of a race. (don't out think yourself)
So, I stuck with the tree.
The weather was getting better & DA had been dropping.
To mine and everyone's surprise in that round, the car's performance was worse than expected.
(Which does not affect fender racers)
The DA actually rose 300+ feet in no time?
Thus I lost.

It won't happen again.
I will no longer pursue running on the number (I changed my race program )
and will run with plenty in reserve next time, no matter what the temperature.

Interesting perspective, though meaningless.

Who went further?

Redgar, you are just a trouble making, pot stirring CLOWN!

Point taken.
Though I have little doubt that had you qualified higher yet got eliminated in the first round (with me going one round instead) that we'd conveniently be hearing about how you still qualified higher.
But hey, most of us use the arguements/comebacks/excuses that fit our needs best.
