It was not raining on route 9 at 9:30 when I got the call.. Almost made it all the way to the track..

 

Was at the gates and they told us it was called off! Looks like ill be there wensday night.

I got 3 hrs. in on a 3.5 hr. trip before I got through to the hotline.

hey the "weather clown" was right though. Stopped raining when they called it and did not start raining again till 6.

You guys that made the haul are troopers and i would have been on the road with you if I wasn't 50% farther than Mark LOL

the good news is I cleaned the windows in my truck and I see much clearer now

Damn, that's not the first time that's happened either...a lot of us were really looking forward to this too.

 

Weather Clown was right, it did stop raining and the event definately could've went on.
I was 1/2 way to Etown when Barry called and said it was cancelled.

It was still raining as I was driving over there but it stopped soon after that.
So who's gonna go on wed night?
So far it's Rick, Kyle and me and Julio from Cartek is coming down.
I hope I have enough gas to get to the track, when I left yesterday I had 1/4 tank-drove 1/2 way there and back now it's down to barely a 1/4 tank.
I gotta talk to Cartek about this friggin' gas mileage, hehe
