Talking New look for 2009

As much as I liked the ProStars on my car, I was ready for a change...

Change is good, but changes on my car seem to sometimes be, let's say, excessive, lol.

Bought the car in June 2007. I've put maybe 5000 miles on it. Since June 2007 it's had 4 different catbacks, 3 different rear gear ratios, 3 different spring and shock combos, a set of polished ZR1's, two DIFFERENT sets of 10 spoke SS rims, as well as two DIFFERENT sets of ProStars.

Anyway, the latest flavor of the month is Strano springs and Torque Thrust II's. 17x11 rears w/315/35 Sumitomos, and 17x9.5 fronts with 275/40 Sumitomos.

Swapped the rims on today since it was warmer than it has been...and I couldn't take having the rims but not having them on the car yet, lol.

Thanks. I am very happy with how it looks, rides, and handles now. Also you'll see in the 2nd pic, a lowered car does not "always" need an adjustable panhard bar. Mine looks to be pretty well centered IMO.

Well I was going to say it looked AWESOME, but that makes me think you should go buy a different set.

LMAO...I've had a LOT of cars in the 18 years we've been together. This is like the third one she's admitted liking, haha...she still won't drive IN it though.

Looks good man! I loved the way they looked on my Z when I had it. They were a PITA to keep clean though! Great looking car!

Thanks, and I agree about PITA and polished rims...they definitely go hand in hand, lol. A guy I know just had his polished rims powdercoated clear and they really look great. If they still look great after the summer, I may get these done...but until then...many beers and many sore fingers are headed my way, haha.

The stance, the wheels and the color all go together perfectly. Good choice. Seems like it's easier to pick wheels for a Camaro than a 'bird IMO.

These are actually polished, which is a PITA, but I don't drive the car too often so hopefully it won't too bad to keep them shiny. I know rain on them sucks, as it spots them up and seems to actually stain them. I know my fingers are still sore from the polishing I gave them a few weeks ago, lol.
