Default Looking for a Painter in CT

I need to have my new front bumper painted and need to find a reputable shop paint it for me at a reasonable price. I am in central CT area. It sucks because I had an awesome guy that was very reasonable until he closed up shop.

I've seen gregs work and I did like it a lot. I have a place in Wallingford CT that recently did my hood and bumper and after several people seeing it, commented that it looks perfect, oem, and beautiful.

PM if your interested. Here are my pics....

I can vouch for Chef's guy (Greg). He repainted the 1/4 on my car that the factory decided needed 3 coats of paint. I had him fill the antenna hole too while he was at it, and it came out 110% He's very VERY detail orientated and will not settle for anything less then perfect.

my guy redid the bumper and headlight doors on my WS6 and the car and body have 100K on it and he matched the paint perfect

And that is a critical skill that a lot of people should possess.

Greg will be getting my car again when I put the pin on hood on the car... I'll have him paint the hood, mount the headlight covers in place without the motor assy's, and repaint the engine bay too while it's there and apart.

I wouldn't give that job to anyone else other then Greg. Might take a little while to get done, but I'd rather have him do it and have an absolute perfect showpiece then take a chance anywhere else.

I've tried to hold my car and the work I've done with it to that standard. It's not always pratical, but when it comes to paint and bodywork any work ethic other then that is not acceptable. I'd rather have it take longer and be perfect then have it done maaco style in 6 hours.

Can you guys give me some contact info for these guys?

I was quoted at $1000+ to paint my bumper and blend it into the hood & fenders. I am going to take my chances on painting just the bumper and hoping the color isn't off much or at all. It's a dark color so I don't think it'll be too noticeable.

NBM needs to be blended, if its just the bumper it probably will look off but you should speak to my guy. I'll grab contact info on lunch

Chef has Greg's contact info, I don't have it handy. I can tell you he redid the 1/4 on my car and filled the antenna hole for 700 if I remember correctly. Keep in mind my car's pewter, and that really needs to be blended. He repainted the 1/4 after strippign the 3 layers of paint off, got rid of the couple tiny dent marks that were in it, blneded it in with the entire door and the bumper cover.

Only way you could tell it's been painted is by the fact that there's no hole for the antenna. I got a price on the same job from 2 other people and they wanted 1500 and 1800 respectively for the same job. Trust me when I say that you aren't gonna really do any better price wise, not for the quality of the work.
