It's broke, park it before something else gets broken!
Well I do have a gift card that will cover the trans crossmember TQ arm mount and bushing. I was pricing O2 sensors and they arent cheap either, where the hell is Specialized when I need him.....

Edit*

It is going to the Bro's shop tommorrow, I need to see how bad it is so I can figure out my game plan.

I get my 02's from GM parts direct for like $74 a pop.

BTW Yank sells a TA mount crossmember for $150. It's not adjustable like the BMR, but it works ok. I'm running one now.

Makes me glad I bought the new BMR crossmember to relocate my torque arm and the new trans mount. The new transmission parts arrive today so hopefully we can get it all back together tomorrow. I'm gonna bench-bleed the new Tick master and throw that in probably tonight. I'm curious to see how it drives with the new crossmember.

Probably a lot better.

If you check that link from Jay, I sway that TQ arm clamshell and it looks bad. I am certainly curious on what is under there. When I stopped or shifted that whole driveline shifted and clunked. it felt like ti was in the trans tunnel, where the foot area of a person in the rear seat would be sitting.

sounds like either your mount is loose or mising bolts, or it is broken

I hear it gets a bit noisy and a little bumpier with the torque arm chassis mounted, but I guess I'll find out in a couple days (hopefully, fingers crossed).

Yeah, I need to get me some of them slicks of Doom. I am very curious to see how my car would do with some real 15" slicks/wheels and skinnies up front. 1.5s wouldn't be a problem; I'd actually be able to launch the car and make the most of this gearing. Some shocks would help, too but the wheels/tires alone would be awesome.

I with real slicks, it may allow harder launching but your body will prob slam on the rear like mine. Whats what I suspect.

Possible, but I guess we won't know until we bolt some on and find out!

I'd love to be able to dump the clutch at 5500-6000 RPM and hook. Some slicks/skinnies and shocks should help out. Possibly later this year depending on how things are going but I still need to get these parts in and then put the cutout on to see if it picks up at all.

I still say we use your parents driveway for a 60 foot launch pad.

This weekend I want to finish my dash pad project ( I am wrapping in in vinyl), change the oil and give the car a bath and then it will be pretty much good. There's other stuff I still want to do but those are the main things before I start driving it more than a few miles here and there.

As far as audio stuff goes, both my door speakers and both subs were blown, I got all four off eBay for $160 shipped. Personally I think the factory monsoon setup sounds great, which is why I went with stock replacements. The place I bought them from claims they are an improved, more durable design.

Yeah, I broke the tranny mount on my Formula and it sounds exactly like what BSM is describing. The clunking sound is unmistakable.

the 2 stock mounts had the rubber part literally shear off the mounting plate, the poly one was an energy suspension one and that held up great until the shitty BMR adjustable torque arm snapped a weld and all hell broke loose lol
