Getting a Roll Bar installed???
PS - if you have any pics of you roll bar installed, post them up!
However, if you do go ahead have a weld in bar done, definitely do a custom setup so the fabricator can taylor it to your car and you will most likely avoid my problems. I recommend Tyson at PAF for custom work. He installed mine and made it much better than it came from Wolfe but if I did it again I would have him do a custom. It would be cheaper and fit much better than buying a Wolfe then paying for installation and fixes for various shortcomings inherent in cookie cutter cages. Good luck whatever your decision,

You think your rear view is useless with a 6 point try a 10 point. Even a PAF 10 point has crappy use of the rear view. Not sure about there 6 point.
They fit of my bolt in was nice. Maybe be the difference between your weld in and my old bolt in.
If your doing a 6 point I would just do a bolt in. Remember if you if you go to a 10 point later you will have to cut the door bars off the 6 point. Also the 6 point uses a larger diameter bar than you need for a 10. If you think you might go 10 point down the road or you would sell car I would do a bolt in 6 point.
However if you are looking for a nice custom done roll bar I would go to PAF also. They are nice guys and do great work

I just had a 6 point installed with removable swingouts from a place called MTK's Welding & Fabrication in NJ I was always trying to not get one installed untill the local tracks really started hammering me late last year,so I figured if I was gonna race anymore it might be best to get one. I'm a pretty big guy and am still able to get in and out of the car without to many problems. I kept going back and forth wether to have the rear cross bar removable, I decided to do it right once and just went solid as it should be, also its cromoly.
IMO...Do yourself a favor you will thank me later,.. and get one installed from a good reputable place.

Plus, if you get out of the car and lean on that swingout bar by mistake, you could bend/tear the floorboard where the plate is welded to it. Making for a mess, and a costly repair.
Weld in one is stronger, and like I said once you're used to climbing in the car head first and out *** first it's not that bad.

Exactly I leave the door bars out of my 10 point when I am driving it on the street. I only put them in when I go to the track.
