I meant to post this a while ago.. sorry. Anyway Fran hooked me up with his guy Sebastian. I had him do the hatch in 1 piece with 5% tint and vynil over the matrix so the dots were not in the tint. The film he uses (maybe he can tell us what kind) is very high quality and optically clear (no waves / swirls) The price was good and the job was clean. All i did was the hatch, i cant get a waiver and dont want to get tickets or have to peel every 2 years.. I think it really flows nice with the black roof too.
I paid a little less a few years back on my Eclipse at a local shop, but the tint was no where near a nice as this film and it looked like crap on the hatch of the eclipse cause of the matrix and lines. Definatly worth the trip to RPM, plus i got to see some nice cars up close.

Thanks Jay! The film i currently use is Suntek and is awsome stuff. Lifetime warranty, etc...

hey everyone this guy is a stand up guy. i called 6 shops in one day about tinting my back Converatble window and he was the only one who was honest about might not being able to do it. as soon as i make my way back home ima get him to give it a shot and see how it goes. thanks

Those convertible flexible plastic windows arent really ideal for tinting. If it were the hard plastic(non flexible), or glass, it wouldn't be a problem.. Ill definately give it a whirl though!
