But with seeing how you can mod it, and put a same color mesh piece in it, id be cool with that.
P1 wouldnt be big enough if I went larger cube, and D1 would be killing my short block and to put heads or cam on it would be murder and I didnt have the $$$ for a new forged short block, heads, cam, fuel upgrades. At every turn the car was going to be "half assed" until I got the cash together.
I just got annoyed and spent 1 k on a n/a Cam set up and will decide later

Yeah I almost bought a mildly used kit off a member back in the day (same deal, low funds to do it right). Part of me wishes I had, but part of me is glad I didn't. I'll go FI soon enough, but it won't be with this car. TA is staying NA.
Don't forget that h/c packages nowadays you are making the same power as a 7psi procharger, with a more usable power band for the track and not adding weight up front. Pros and Cons. Plus it's fun to pick on pullied cobras stock ci all motor

No traction in 3rd Yesterday, but it was nice that 4th was working properly.
I like the sound of the turbo's better, but I like the "oh Jesus" punch of the blower at 80 mph better.
I was pretty impressed with your car though. It was no slouch and hooks nicely from 2nd on up.
So for a 11:1 H/C car, can you safely run 6-8 psi if you tune right? I'm guessing #7 ringland would be on borrowed time though unless you put a little more injector back there somehow.
