Yeah, I'm not sure if I've ever seen a clean pass from one. What was up with the one that launched, then stopped and backed up, then staged again, then backed up and did another burnout, then staged again, then finally made a somewhat pass? I think next time I screw up a launch I'll just hit the brakes and back it up for a second attempt...I'm sure that will go well for me.

I heard that Chef, my condolences. Well at least you can take on the curse of the mini slicks again. I have enough of it

I spent the rest of the afternoon cleaning and clay baring the trans am, she looks like a beauty.

Thanks for a great day, Ted! We hit up every one of your rentals and they're totally worth it! Especially ones like this where the number of tickets sold is limited so you really get to test and tweak the car and work on launching, etc. In fact, I pretty much ONLY hit up rentals now so I'm totally spoiled when I go to a regular street night and only get like 2-4 passes in.

Car has 400 miles on it so I left the street tires on it.
All day was going 12.30 - 12.39 like a bracket car with 2.2 sixties at 118 mph. Can't wait to put a heat exchanger and some tires on this tank. I figure same 100 degree weather but some 1.8 60's and it should run prety consistent 11.7-11.8's...For a car I have had a week and has 400 I miles on it I am pumped.

Blue car has gears and Dr's. He was running high 11's to 12.0 all day. he was having traction issues also 2.0 60's....

I wish I had gotten a chance to line up next to him and get a little revenge after he kicked my *** on the highway a few weeks ago. He is pulleyed as well, though, correct?

Ya we both have a 2.6 pulley on our cars....Once he gets his launch figured out with the 305 Dr's I figure his car will be 11.6-11.7 all day any day...and in the cold who knows some .40's would be nice....
