Most Sponsors are parts slingers and all they can do is read off the advertisement. Thats fact. The few cars they work with may have the unit in there but the question is do they go out to put "foot to ***" and leave like a hero.

People should watch that Jannetty Race Day Video Mr.B made which was really great. You can see which cars try to leave like a man and the others that ride the clutch out, or leave soft out the hole. Those cars if they had tru tracs would be fine. One good wheel hop or good "hit" makes them do this.

Mine still does what Chef describes.

Turns out this weekend my Clutch master may have a leaky seal so thats another thing that puts a nail in the coffin for this T-56.

FWIW my HD eaton has held up to a decent amount of abuse over the years (actually since eastside installed it sometime in '04 or '05). It does clunk like a locker around tight low speed turns but doesn't bother me.

I have driven in 2, actually 3 Eaton HD posi cars, none of them have broke, all have raced and 2 made that little clunk sound but its nothing like this Tru trac is.

my old eaton took 3 years of racing and abuse and it was perfect when it came out, guy in texas has been driving on it for over a year with no problems.

That tru-crap is that, crap. Absolute junk, I have seen these things breaking all across the spectrum, in everything from our 4th gen cars to old school stuff, you name it, 400 rwhp breaks it.

My Eaton has held up fine so far and I beat the hell out of it (knock on wood). It does clunk like crazy going around slow, sharp turns, especially in neutral, but I'll take a clunky rear that holds any day of the week.
