The guy who was *usually* the root of all evil (Dave Busch) is no longer there, so your chances of a better experience have increased dramatically.

There was an era of all out shop warfare here on LS1Tech, but for the most part it has subsided... especially since she had babies and it's hard to change diapers and type at the same time.

Marc (LS1LT1) is the chief spokesman, and he's sort of like Obama's Press Secretary (Robert Gibbs) who entertains as he informs.

Yeah...I was only planning on giving MarC a hard time. But, I'll just sit back and read...and keep the thread alive.

without getting into specifics and I'll keep my comments to my own experience--I'll just say that we were friends for about 10 years in and out of the shop, guy was at my wedding, has been to my house, has played with my children and because of his increasing character flaws over the last few years both in business and in friendship I don't speak to him anymore and I never will again. Many people/ customers I've spoken to have had a similar experience to mine but I take what went on between myself and him very personally because I thought we were good friends and it turned out not to be the case.

It won't go to waste. You're going to need that shop-vac to suck up what's left of your pride if you keep using those 28".

Don't feel like a turd-be the turd!!
seriously now that you say it I really don't remember now-maybe he did pay me or offered and I didn't take it I don't remember-honestly. You don't owe me ****.

hahahahahaha, now THAT'S funny stuff and I totally agree with you!
friggin' everyone else is telling me different so I'm going to have the car rescaled and adjusted at Caroll's and give it another shot-ONE more shot. I actually missed my appointment last week-something came up but it's going in in a couple of weeks.
You better bring your own shop vac on sat, I have to work and can't make it anyway.

I'm bringing the car but I'm not racing. I've replaced enough parts to build another GTO. Everytime I go, the tech card costs me 1,030. 1,230. 2,030. F*** it.

I'm fasting so I can gorge myself on track burgers & gatorade.

They got some good guys down there and run some fast car as per some of the posters, that is an example of their work and driving abilities. I always weigh how far a shop is away as an consideration if my car would need to go back etc etc.

You should have no issues, or ther then destroying tires!!

Good idea. Looks like he got his answer. This needs a lock down before it gets out of hand.
