I had the Monster energy drink once when they were giving out free samples at Maple Grove Raceway. That stuff was horrible.

Since we had a few extra cans of it, we decided to chuck them into a camp fire we had going. One of the cans exploded sending the logs and ashes all over the place. There were burn marks all over the top of the RV we rented for the weekend.

Big fan of Red Bull here. When I am on very low hours of sleep (like 2 hours) or just need a quick pick-me-up I get one. I like a few of the Monster Drink flavors as well, the Orange one, Khaos is my favorite though... it's half juice so it can't be "that" bad for ya....

And yes, Red Bull by the case is definitely cheaper. I use to drink like 2 cans a day when I was working three jobs with some school mixed in!

Oh, And, I get a few cans when I am on the road trailering to Atco or Cecil County for some racing, they help to keep me alert! I don't drink coffee or anything of the like, so these super sugar'd, caffine drinks do me wonders, "usually".

I drink 2 16oz redbulls a night at work they aren't THAT strong though.
Try these:
Xience xenergy I like the clear and cranrazz
Rockstar zero carb
Redline extreme
5 hour energy extra strength
And if u are feeling real tired 3 200mg caffeine pills. It'll wake up the luck up but u crash hardcore.
They are all stronger than a redbull

Try a No Fear drink sometime , they have vitamins in them unlike a lot of energy drinks out there and taste great.

I think the No Fear drink is made by Sobe. The Sobe energy drink has vitamins too and it has a little more natural of a taste. More like juice. Love those B vitamins.

Honestly these things are all terrible for you, even ignoring all the stimulants, they are jammed full of empty calories from sugar and corn syrup. I'd stick with the sugar free/no carb/diet versions.
