Well after four years.....
They finally caught up to me at work.....
The Blocked LS1tech.com at my work place!
It does happen on occasion, what had happened here was Youtube vids can get linked here and I did click on one to see a race and it threw up the red flags. Now no one talks to you, its just blocked... WTF!! I am going through withdrawls on down time.
Anyways, it gives me time to brush up on reading about LSX stuff and keeping busy waiting for calls to come in.
I swear if they ever saw my internet useage, it would be disgusting.
Anyone else have something similar happen to them??

Similiar situation.............my employer blocked a bunch of stuff that I used to be able to access, like YouTube and other video sites, blocked Flash Player, etc.................but I can still get most web sites including LS1Tech.
In fact, I'm at work right now............

usually you can get in through the back door. try running a google search for tech than click on one of those links, it usually works. we have craigslist blocked here but if i run through google, it comes up. just a thought. dunno if it'll work with tech cause its not blocked here, but its worth a try.

If that doesn't work, on the same Google results page, click "Cached" below the relevant search result. Of course, this tip won't help you if you're at work right now...

Try going in through a proxy!

Most sys admins don't take the time to block those. (Myself included!) Considering if you have the knowledge to go that route, then props to you because you are the minority.

Would those proxies work with Saint Bernard, now called Iprism? A friend of mine is stuck behind that Iron Curtain, I myself have been known to check a few things...cough...disgusting record indeed.

Something like Iprism you probably won't be able to get past. That is doing content filtering. (It is often a subscriber service that lists websites by content type.) Those proxy sites would most likely already be included in their content filtering. From the sounds of the OP, they are blocking site-by-site, not necessarily content based.
