Default Does anyone race at maple anymore?

Seems that everyone heads down to Cecil. Having raced at both tracks now, I definitely prefer Maple as far as overall track layout and things are concerned. Cecil feels very, cramped. I guess that's a good word. I know Maple is a bit more expensive. So does anyone else race there on a regular basis?

Might be heading to Maple this Sunday for that TnT, got a free race ticket so I can't pass it up, plus after all these years of racing at Cecil, this will be my first time racing at Maple, so I'm prepping myself to be dissappointed in my slower track times because of elevation.......

Haven't raced their yet this year. Be prepared to wait 1-2 hours between runs. Maybe even longer. The organization down their seems none existant many of times. But the facility itself is very nice.

My friend has been running his kids there for years. From jr dragsters to 9 and 10 sec camaros. I was talking to him yesterday and he and his daughter are getting fed up with some of the BS at Maple.

If you want competitive bracket racing go to Maple Grove..if you want lots of time trials go to Cecil. Both have their advantages.

I did pretty good Sunday when I went for the Sponsers Challenge Cup, first run was a 12.08@115, then they switched to 1/8 mile for some reason....got eliminated on the first round....first time ever racing bracket 1/8 mile though, and tech wasn't that bad didn't even have me pop the hood!!!

I'm there quite often. Always .2 slower than Cecil but track prep is much better.
