Well I got the trans back in the car Saturday with all the upgrades. Also put the car on a little diet hopefully got an extra 40lbs out of the car. Also brought the car into work today and put it on the alignment rack and squared the rear in the car since it was off a little. So hopefully no more pulling left off the line. I plan on heading down to Cecil Wednesday and will hopefully make a 10.3 or 10.2 pass after my 10.40 pass a month ago when I lifted off the throttle when the car was skating towards center of the track.

Who all will be going down Wednesday?

Fireball you were right about the rear being off some. And the direction it was off would have made it go left like it was.

Well at least MikeP and I didn;t break anything. Shitty night though. fighting traction issues all night. All I did was square the rear up I guess I need to go over everything else now. Made 1 ok pass and went 10.8 but I was short shifting the car. I was a little nervous about the track after seeing that WRX spin out and tag the wall at the top end of the lane I was in. Overall had 2 MAJOR clean ups and the top end of both lanes early in the night then the wreck in the top of one of the lanes that was a result of anti freeze on the track from some other car

 

did it at least go straight?

what rear swaybar do you have?

back in the day...my best suspension mod was the addition of a BMR Xtreme rear way bar (solid end links)

 

I am pretty sure it went straight. I need to go back and watch the videos. I do have the BMR drag bar on the car. Has the adjustable endlinks that you weld the big brakets to the frame for.

Still not sure why just squaring the rear would make it hard to get to hook again. Oh well I will have front drag shocks and springs next week. I am still running stock fronts right now.

I am gonna try and get the shocks in and make some adjustment before Next Wednesday and see what it will do. Just all the break downs and then watching an AWD car loose control (and he wasn't going that fast) on the top end just made me nervous.
