If you want a fast ski get the rxt but look at spend over 12k new.

where do you ride at? i usually ride around middle river/hart miller island
I only ride in Ocean City, we have a house on a canal with a jet ski lift. That's crazy to spend that much for so little. The biggest problem we had with honda is the waste gate vaccume tube rusted threw so we couldnt build boost. We managed to fix it but its only a matter of time before it rusts thru again. Will the BOV like in the pics replace it?

no. I am just very **** when they come out of the water. they get pressure washed, washed, and fresh water ran through them. I just added the BOV to help get rid of the boost. Ive never had a issue. lol just sell it to me plzzzz

Blow off valve really doesnt do anything to help on the ski, the wastegate solenoid is a major PITA on the hondas as well as the turbo. Do you spray it down with a marine lubricant after every use? CRC 656 is what most use to prevent rust and corrosion and it helps big time. You can replace the solenoid I believe but you definetly dont wanna have to replace the turbo(over 2 grand). Riding in Ocean City doesnt help with the saltwater either but if you spray the entire assembly down every time you run it it should last a long time.

We have looked everywhere to find a replacement solenoid but cant find one, the honda dealer will only sell us a new turbo unit not just the solenoid.

how much for the double trailer? check out pwctoday.com, and go to the honda section a guy with the screen name brokeazzhonda or something is in the process of creating just the solenoid and he might be able to sell you one.

IMO the XP is the funnest of them all, especially handling wise. Just tippy around the docks. At 7AM on a warm summer weekday on my lake, there isn't much better then doing some sweeping turns at 60mph.

I try not to catch the mod bug with them same as you. They always run better stock, and I just like to gas them up, and beat the snot out of 'em.

XP around the docks is awful...and trying to put another person on the back is a disaster. One false move and you're flipping it. It does handle awesome though and you can really throw it around.

If I had an RXP it would stay stock for about five minutes tho lol

Ehh, I've owned it so long I can manuever it just as good as one without direct drive. Not really an issue for me, as I'm 6'5". So anyone getting on the back of my ski is doomed to begin with, because they are going for a ride LOL.

I would never replace it, just add an RXP to the collection.

Camaro I told you that website was awesome. I try to use it in moderation, as there is no way you can sift through those threads and NOT go onto the owners webpage and buy a bunch of **** LOL.

Theres one guy on there with a 300HP Mercury V6 outboard he put in a GSX. It's rediculous...

jesus. some of those gus are out of control. I just couldnt pass it up. I stole my first GP1200 and got this one even cheaper and it has less hrs and better shape. Its just way more fun with 2-3 skis on the water then just yourself so figure ill just let friends and my younger brother rip the slower ones lol

haha lol i wish i had more cash for a more reliable ski. i think i might just dish out the money and bite the bullet and have both of mine serviced by a pro in the spring. its expensive but having a good running ski all summer is worth it
