Would a cam swap help out my torque numbers at all, Fran? The peak numbers are good because I'd probably be in the 440 range if I had a 10-bolt, stock driveshaft, and stock wheels, but with a weak mid range I think I'm going to lose to cars that make "less" horsepower.
If the weather station were slightly off at the new dyno, or if the conditions were just right that 0.95 to 0.97 correction factor and the smoothing on 4 instead of 5 are enough to cause the 14 HP difference seen from the two dynos.
Having had multiple vehicles on the dyno at RPM, I can say with confidence that the difference between the two are negligible and the dyno I would trust the RPM dyno numbers as it is a new 224x DynoJet.
Sorry there is a lot that goes into that number that the machine pops out. The SAE Corrected numbers aren't even what you would use to calculate the difference a car would run at the track from one to another, since they're numbers people use to even up the game from one elevation/temperature to another.

I'm not worried that the numbers are different dyno to dyno. They are only off 6 rwhp and 6 rwtq, which is well within normal for two different dynos on two different days. You have to disregard the 438 number from RPM, since that was on an NA tune and the baseline pull was with a nitrous tune. The 430 is the true power the car makes, setup like it was before (for nitrous) and setup the way it left the shop.
I'm worried that the torque is very low (on both dynos) for the combo. Having a good peak number isn't gonna help me nearly as much as it should when my curve from 4000 to 5500 rpm is low.

I could see a cam swap helping.
little shorter exhaust duration, more lift, increased ramp if you stick with a 112 lsa maybe a couple degrees of advance.A faster ramp lobe would make the tq curve hold more.
You're CR is probably just under 11:1 and I always thought those 215 heads with the lower valve angle had mid lift numbers just under (negligible) a solid 205 head. Those heads are proven, so it might be worth specing out a new cam.
My car makes similar tq numbers, but it's an auto.

I'd put a 238/242 in it with lift that will get ya to about 600 with the 1.8 rockers, and put it on a 110lsa 106 icl That will pick up the tq and should still have good top end. Just have to look at the overlap with the .005 #'s with the other spec's and make sure it's not too much (18 to 22 degrees would be good) and that should make plenty of steam.
