He takes it to the track on street tires, he needs to get his *** in gear and bolt some slicks on it, the car never runs a good et on street tires but put down some crazy MPH and it funny to see the car blowing the tires off thru the traps too lol.....Would love to see the car run on slicks im sure it would run 10's or better. His name on supraforums is Fasteddie from Bowie MD.

Heh, what's going on man? How have you been? No sup in the garage right now. Just messing around with some beaters at the moment while real estate is cheap. I'd love to get back into one (sup) sometime in the fall or next spring though.
Should be a good run between you two for sure. Of course I'll have to go with Rob just because of Bruce's typical luck.

I see that there is a stock twin upgrade kit for Poopras finally that will allow 550 rwhp at 25 psi. Makes good boost and torque at 2000 rpm because they stay in sequential mode. That would make an awesome street car and quite the sleeper because it retains all the same piping and valveing. It would be impossible to tell the difference visually between this setup and stock. Good way to go if someone still has the stock twins.

The only thing i can say is that i am impressed by bolting on a single turbo, intake ,cams and a few other small items and being able to put down almost 900 rear wheel horsepower is very very impressive on a small cubic inch motor. i am 125% chevy man but i give the supras props

Well i can tell you this much, my car runs it ***** off for having bone stock heads (11:61) he has given me 15 cars with me on DR and busted my ******* wide open, he is taking it to the track when it opens on slicks, im sure its a 9:70....9:80 car for sure. i have seen him run another supra that is at the track running 10:20's
sooo for a 3.0L stock heads, stock bottom end motor putting down over 800 RWHP in my book is damn good, how many cars have you seen with that horsepower been slow ?............

It's been built for two years he loves running the car top-end, the issue with his car is that its a stick with the stock trans and half-shafts....im sure it will last a few launches on slicks on the two step.

I was actually joking about the Supras junk thing. I just needed something to bring the thread back up. I almost bought a supra twice now. Love the cars and in the right hands and right mods are made to be deadly.
As for the stock trans and halfshafts. I will bet a pretty penny he CAN"T break either of them using slicks. The supras have a rubber bushing between the driveshaft and rear diff and it absorbs alot of the shock. I've only ever seen one supra break one and it did it twice at MIR during IMport vs Domestics in a probably 1000+rwhp supra lowered way to far and all the stupid things in its favor!

I hate people who have high horsepower/torque dyno cars and can't or won't run a number at the track.
What a waste of time, money and effort. It's like, if you can't impress everyone else, what's the point in having a wicked fast car that you enjoy on the street. You need that ET/MPH so you can prove to the world that you mean business.
