getting close!!!!!!
finnaly got my parts yesterday, so i am getting close. hoping to get my hands on my buddys degree wheel tonight so i can degree the cam in.
but last night i got the rod bolts all swapped, cam installed, timming chain all fit up, ground the oil pump to clear the chain, cleaned everything, got head studs installed (glad i had those laying around from an old motor, my l19 from the lsx dont work on the ls1)
pretty much all set. should have the motor in the car this weekend without heads or intake.
waiting on a flywheel to, but if the weather is right i will still bolt the tranny up and messure for a drive shaft.
anyone know a good local that can build me one cheep?
i will post a couple pics later.

****, i just ordered a huges one about 2 hours ago!!! doh
haha, i ment to say, mike will post pics. lol
timmy, prob be working on it tonight as well. i was hoping lou was coming by with the degree wheel, but he didnt, and now that he is single his friday nights are spent clubbin in boston
so i prob wont get it done tonight either
but i can do a couple little things, and the way my new timming chain works, i can accually probably button up the bottom end and just leave the cover off and still degree the cam.
i was really hoping to get the motor into the car tomorrow, but we shall see.
spoke with TEA, there cnc machine went down, so my heads wont be touched till next week so that puts me at a stand still after its in the car:bang :
